Many a times while editing faces-config.xml I felt the need of content assist which could provide me with available tags and its attributes to ease development. JSF provides a DTD for faces-config.xml which can be used for this purpose.
Include this DOCTYPE in your faces-config.xml file
And then press Ctrl+Space to bring up content assist.
As you can see, the content assist shows different tags available depending on parent tag.
This would work only if you are connected to internet. To make it available offline download the file web-facesconfig_1_0.dtd from the URL http://java.sun.com/dtd/web-facesconfig_1_0.dtd and store it in your local file system. Now update the code to point to the file on your system, say something like this:
